WFMW: Simple Recipe Holder

I like to keep my recipes online (you can see my recipe blog here). Then, when I want to cook them, I print them out. My tip today is meant to keep the recipes easy to see and out of the way. I just put them on the oven hood with a magnet! Here's an example:

That paper is my recipe. :) Hope this helps another cook! Don't forget to check for more tips on Shannon's site, Rocks in my Dryer!

This is a great idea! I love your cooking blog, too. I love to cook, and just post my recipes on my main blog! Thanks for sharing this tip!

Great idea!

Another tip I have seen is to put recipe cards in the tines of a fork and place the handle of the fork in a drinking glass.

cool idea...the magnet AND the fork idea in the glass...i have clothespin magnets at my shop for sale...all decorated and pretty...this might look good too?!?!? A crafty person can made their own or someone not so crafty can just pick them up at happyhousequilts.com

I do the same thing!

Hmmm... definitely a bit safer than carting my laptop into the kitchen. A kitchen which only has roughly 4 square feet of usable counter space, that is. I like the fork in a glass idea too!

Thanks for stopping by my site. I like your magnet idea, but unfortunately I don't have an oven hood. I love the name of your blog. Enjoy your marriage.

That is so simple, and yet I've never thought of that! It sure would free up valuable counter space!
